Accountant Moore Seeks Council Seat

Janice Moore, a member of the now-defunct citizens’ budget task force, will run for a Ward 2 seat in Waterloo.
Current Councillor Karen Scian is not seeking reelection.
The citizens’ budget task force was convened in Waterloo in 2011. The group pored through city finances and made several recommendations to council on everything from reviewing a city system that guides tax increases to the city’s infrastructure deficit. Read more…
